  20. hardware today announced a special EtherWave offer for new Power Macintosh
  21. owners.  Award-winning Farallon EtherWave transceivers provide the most
  22. flexible 10BASE-T Ethernet connectivity for Apple Power Macintosh computers.
  23. The daisy-chainable EtherWave products provide Power Macintosh users with an
  24. inexpensive method to quickly connect to existing Ethernet networks.

  26. Each Power Macintosh 6100, 7100 and 8100 is equipped with a built-in Apple AUI
  27. (AAUI) Ethernet port, enabling users to easily attach the CPU directly to a
  28. 10BASE-T Ethernet network with a Farallon EtherWave AAUI Transceiver.  The
  29. EtherWave AAUI Transceiver provides a Power Macintosh user with access to
  30. printers, servers and other network computer users to take full advantage of
  31. Ethernet speed and performance.  Each EtherWave transceiver features two
  32. 10BASE-T RJ-45 ports to allow for daisy-chain configuration.  Two devices, such
  33. as  a desktop Power Macintosh and a mobile PowerBook, can be connected to a
  34. single network hub port, eliminating the need to pull additional wire to an
  35. office or cubicle.

  47. to purchase up to two Farallon EtherWave AAUI Transceivers for only U.S.$89
  48. each (a $129 value).  Customers will be responsible for applicable sales tax,
